Click here for a list of all my origami creations to date (updated as at April 2009), with details of date created and where they have been published. Many of my models have seen the light of day in British Origami Society (BOS) convention souvenir booklets, or have been published in the BOS Magazine, and some have been published in books.

The BOS has a searchable database of origami models that have been published in magazines, books, convention booklets etc - it's not complete but is a good start if you're looking for a particular subject or models by a particular creator.

I hope to add diagrams for more of them onto this web-site in due course. If you would like diagrams for one of my designs that is not yet on this web-site, nor in one of my booklets, by all means contact me.

Selected Works 1973-1982. Models in this booklet are:

Frog - page 1 One of my all time favourite simple animals. Published in Nick Robinson's book "Super Quick Origami Animals."

Beaver - page 1 One of my early animals, in caricature or cartoon style. I use the base (first few folds) for other animal folds also e.g. fox, horse.

Falcon - page 1 I particularly like the fact that this is a 3-D model and captures the essence of the falcon.

Nude - Nude This "model" was featured on page 3 of the BOS Magazine in 1977, suggested at the time to be trying to rival popular tabloids! Featured on Channel 4's "Kirstie's Handmade Britain" in October 2011. These instructions are from my original booklet, but watch out for some newer revamped ones shortly.

Robin - page 1 This is an updated version of the Robin that is in my "Selected Works"  booklet, created in 1991. This one has a colour change for the red breast without losing its simplicity and character.

Fox - page 1, page 2 This fox was my dad's favourite fold of mine. It started off just as a fox's head and grew from there.

Sheep - page 1, page 2 As a nod to my Welsh heritage, I am particularly pleased that I've been able to make a good sheep. There's a particularly nice lock move to make the sheep 3-D.

Jaws - page 1 This shark involves just 4 valley folds to make (plus a bit of biro for the teeth). Created as a result of a challenge in the BOS magazine to design folds from 5 or less valley or mountain folds.

Yacht - page 1 Put a 1p piece or coin inside the hull, and the yacht will float upright in water.

Maple Leaf - page 1, page 2 Created in 1997 for an origami display as part of the Cabot 500 celebrations, marking John Cabot's journey from Bristol to Newfoundland (Canada) in 1497.

Maggie - page 1 Part of the double act Maggie and Ron who were big news at the time...you can find diagrams for Ron on Nick Robinson's Origami Fun site.

Baseball Cap - page 1, page 2 Made out a piece of broadsheet newspaper. Can be folded up and kept in your pocket or bag ready for when it's needed.

Mr Smiley - page 1, page 2 To me origami means FUN, so Mr Smiley - the ubiquitous smiley face - sums up my approach to origami. Keep folding, keep smiling!

Jumping Kangaroo page 1, page 2, page 3. "Skippy the bush kangaroo" was a big TV star in my childhood. Here's my origami version, created as a gift for an Ozzie. Press down on its tail and off she skips...

Heffalump

page 1, page 2 Simple 2-piece elephant - the name Heffalump, as you may know, comes from A.A Milne's "Winnie the Pooh."
